Business Facilitator
Sharjah Media City · United Arab Emirates

From thesis to transaction.

Most advisory stops at the recommendation. We are licensed to keep going — to trade the goods, run the technology programme, and build the demand that follows the strategy.

The mandate

The gap between a good decision and a completed transaction is where most cross-border business dies.

An adviser diagnoses, recommends, produces a document and leaves. The client is then alone at exactly the moment the work gets hard — finding the counterparty, negotiating the terms, moving the goods, standing up the system, generating the first customers.

Business Facilitator is licensed differently, and therefore built differently. The same entity that writes the strategy is licensed to trade the goods, manage the technology programme, and run the campaign that sells the output. Advice and execution sit inside one accountable entity, in one jurisdiction, under one principal.

We take execution risk deliberately. Analysis gets honest when the analyst has to live with it.

The principal

Twenty years, twenty countries, one job.

Nikolaos Kargakos founded Business Facilitator in December 2021. Born in Montreal to a Greek family, he has spent more than two decades working across industries that rarely sit at the same table — commodities, cryptocurrency, healthcare, digital security.

He was mining Bitcoin and Ethereum in the years when saying those words out loud got you a strange look in most business meetings, well before blockchain found its way into boardrooms. That early conviction hardened into a working instinct for which technologies matter before the rest of the market notices.

He moved to the Gulf in 2022 and has since built relationships across more than twenty countries, working with entrepreneurs, private investors, family offices and companies in the thick of early growth. He leads every mandate the firm accepts.

How we engage
Model 01

Advisory retainer

Continuous access for founders, boards and family offices. Monthly, three-month minimum.

Model 02

Project mandate

Defined scope, defined deliverable, fixed fee. Market-entry studies, AI roadmaps, sourcing mandates, campaign builds.

Model 03

Transaction mandate

Success-linked engagement on a specific deal. Retainer plus success fee.

One accountable principal. Written theses, not slideware. Confidentiality by default — NDA before the first substantive conversation. We decline mandates we cannot execute; scope discipline is part of the service.

On clients

Discretion is part of the work, not a courtesy attached to it.

Most of our mandates involve market entries, sourcing arrangements and partnerships that our clients have commercial reasons to keep quiet — and the ones who don't still tend to prefer it that way.

The greater part of our work arrives through relationships built over two decades and twenty countries. Introductions are made privately, references are given privately, and the same discretion that protects a past client is what a new one is buying.

References available under NDA, on request.
